FaceCollage on iOS – Location services? Why?
If you are wondering why you have to enable location services on your iOS devices to use FaceCollage:
To select more than one photo from the device’s image library FaceCollage cannot use Apple’s image loading menu (it just supports selecting a single picture).
Accessing the photo library the way FaceCollage has to do it (to let the user select more than one image) also gives FaceCollage full access to the location data stored in the photos (GPS data).
As the iOS device (e.g. your iPhone) does not know that FaceCollage will not use that information, it asks the user (you) for permission.
I hope this clarifies that there is no need to worry. Also FaceCollage does not access the internet, anyway.
Falls Sie sich fragen, warum Sie die Ortungsdienste auf Ihrem iOS-Gerät aktivieren müssen, um FaceCollage zu verwenden:
Um mehr als ein Foto aus den Fotoalben des Gerätes auszuwählen kann FaceCollage leider nicht Apples Bildlade-Menü verwenden (da dieses nur die Auswahl eines Fotos unterstützt).
Die Zugriffsweise auf die Fotoalben, die FaceCollage verwenden muss (um den Benutzer mehr als ein Bild auswählen zu lassen) gibt FaceCollage auch Zugriff auf die Ortungsdaten in den Fotos (GPS-Daten).
Da das iOS-Gerät (z.B. Ihr iPhone) nicht weiß, dass FaceCollage diese Informationen nicht verwenden wird, fragt es den Benutzer (Sie) um Erlaubnis.
Ich hoffe, damit ist verdeutlicht, dass es keinen Grund zur Besorgnis gibt. Außerdem greift FaceCollage sowieso nicht auf das Internet zu.
